They gave me a free diagnosis and a very reasonable estimate to fix my gaming computer. This is my first time giving a review to anyone. I felt so compelled to do so bc they are awesome. Dont let their location fool you. If you have a computer problem take it there and you will not be disappointed. They go way beyond just fixing your computer!

These guys are great. I brought them a laptop with a broken power button (which wouldn’t turn on). They figured out the problem (which was something else) and fixed it promptly, and for a very fair fee that was much less than buying a new laptop.

They are located in Mount Vernon but don’t let that scare you if you are in Arlington – they also do house calls.

They provide a six-month warranty on any repair.

They fix any desktop or laptop, including Macs. They can open the case, figure it out, and fix it (including repairs that involve soldering). Their affiliate, Orlogic Repairs, does logic board repairs.

If your laptop RAM or storage is upgradable, they also do that.

TopTech also has used laptops (Mac and PC), which also have a 6-month warranty. Unlike the used laptops on eBay, Amazon Warehouse or Craigslist, with these laptops you know what you are getting and there is someone who will fix it for free if there are problems.

Craig fixed my MacBook Pro after it sustained water damage. My screen’s backlight was not working and he replaced the logic board and had it back to me within a week, and charged a reasonable price – much less than Apple. Also, Craig is the only person I found that can do hardware in the entire D.C. area. The trip from Foggy Bottom to Alexandria was worth it. He took all my calls and thoroughly explained what was going on at all stages of the repair. I would recommend Craig to anyone. Thanks Craig!

Alex is so personable and knowledgeable. He fixed my desktop iMac, gave me a tutorial in the new operating system, and charged me much less than Apple would have. 2 thumbs up. 5 stars. And the antique shop is a blast, too.

A little unusual setting, but very knowledgeable, straightforward, and helpful. Price was reasonable. The only problem was the repair did not hold and the laptop hinge popped after two days.

Originally, I took my Macbook Air to a different business, and after they told me it wasn't fixable, Craig said he could handle it! When I brought it in, he opened the laptop directly in front of me, showed me the water damage that I hadn't seen on my own, and was extremely helpful/knowledgeable. I enjoyed listening to him tell me stories while he assessed my broken laptop, and in the end, he gave me an excellent deal! Don't be fooled by this business nestled in an antique store. The owner has saved my computer, hubby's laptop and even a phone. The office is closed on Tuesdays. If you don't mind allowing permission to access remotely, you can have your laptop analyzed while you are still at home. The employees are honest and diligent.

The Hard Drive went bad on my 1 1/2 year old desktop. I took it to Craig (Oldest Geek) on a Friday and I had it back on Saturday. All my documents were saved and retrieved for me. Super fast and professional service. Awesome job..A+ Rating. Thank you

I brought my computer to his shop expecting I needed a new board or a recovery from a failed hard drive. It turned out to be a virus and my computer is back working better then it has for a long time.

My macbook pro 2011’s logic board died, and of course apple failed to notify people they were fixing it for free up until literally this year. Craig worked on the repair, and while at it also upgraded my RAM and hardrive to an SSD for a very reasonable price. It roars like a lion now, couldnt be happier. Basically got a brand new mac for a quarter of the price

Amazing! I spilled (well my dog did) water on my computer. They actually gave me a trade-in for a better computer for a very low price, and had everything done, within two hours. This saved my life for a presentation. (I now live in Alexandria even though profile says CA.)

Let me keep this simple: based on my experience, Craig will 1) fix your computer, no matter what the problem is, 2) do a better job than Best Buy’s “Geek Squad” for a fraction of the price, and 3) let you know ahead of time exactly how he will fix it and give you an estimate that will have you smiling. I have found the computer guy for all of my computers!

Craig quickly identified the problem with my Gateway and fixed it at a very reasonable price. He went further to recommend technical fixes to prevent future problems, many of which I could do for free, and even offered solid advice on possible future tech purchases. I wanted to replace the graphics card in an HP EliteBook 8540w laptop. I requested estimates for doing the work. Given those who responded, Craig 's estimate for cost and time required to perform the work was the most attractive.

As for the time required to perform the work, around lunchtime on 6 February 2020, I handed it to him and around lunchtime of the next day, I got it from him. As for the cost, the actual cost was less than the estimated cost. I inspected and tested the product (my laptop), it looked good and passed my tests.

In conclusion, for service performance and product quality, I gave him five stars.
